The nominations for the 2012 Independent Spirit Awards have been announced on Tuesday, November 29. In the Best Male Lead category, Ryan Gosling earned a nomination through his role as Hollywood stunt driver in "Drive".
Meanwhile, in the Best Female Lead category, Michelle Williams is being nominated for her portrayal of Marilyn Monroe in "My Week with Marilyn".
