Sean Penn, Josh Brolin and Ryan Gosling shoot up half of 1940s Los Angeles in the new trailer for "Gangster Squad."

The trench coat and fedora filled preview plays like "The Untouchables" on speed, as tommy guns blare, sultry call girls cast come hither looks and Penn and co-star Nick Nolte compete in a gravely voice-off. "Los Angeles is a damsel in distress, and I need you to save her," growls Nolte at one point in the two-minute spot.
