The Physics Involved
Many people may wonder what all the fuss is about, and they may see no problem with the idea that a fan could be used in this way. However, to a scientific mind, Newtonian physics apparently indicate that this is impossible.
The myth involves Newton's third law of motion; one of the universe's fundamental symmetry laws. There has never been a known violation of it. The third law states: For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
