Bruce Wilis joins the action thriller ‘Five Against a Bullet’

Bruce Wilis joins the action thriller ‘Five Against a Bullet’, while his onscreen daughter Mary Elizabeth Winstead joins the comedy film ‘A.C.O.D.’

Bruce Willis and Mary Elizabeth Winstead starred in Live Free or Die Hard as father/daughter duo John McClane and Lucy (Gennaro) McClane, but since then they’ve both continued on successful career paths, and those journeys continue today, as it has been announced that Willis will star in Columbia Pictures’ action thriller Five Against a Bullet, while Winstead has been added to the upcoming comedy A.C.O.D.
"We have been excited about this project since acquiring the rights last year from Mimran Schur and believe Bruce Willis is the perfect actor to lead this cast," Minghella said Thursday in a statement. "We look forward to moving Five Against a Bullet into production quickly."

Sam Dickerman and Lauren Abrams will oversee the project for Columbia, while Erik Howsam, who brought Five Against a Bullet to the studio, will oversee for DiBonaventura Pictures.

Willis, repped by CAA, last starred in RED opposite Helen Mirren, Morgan Freeman and John Malkovich. He next appears in Moonrise Kingdom and Looper, in addition to G.I. Joe: Retaliation and The Expendales 2. Production will begin shortly on the fifth film in the Die Hard franchise, A Good Day

This project seems ripe to be an ensemble of some kic-kass action stars, but I must admit it concerns me that Willis was announced solo - perhaps meaning that he will headline while the other four bodyguards will serve more as background. If that's not the case, though, who would you cast as Willis' support team? Leave your thoughts in the comments section below.
