Is Ryan Gosling in Auckland? Twitter says ‘yes’

Social networking site Twitter is aflutter with rumours celebrity heart throb Ryan Gosling is in Ponsonby, Auckland.

The fuss appears to have started with a tweet from fashion house World saying “Ryan Gosling at World britomart! Swoon!”

Other claims on Twitter, using the hashtag #NZGoslinghunt, include sightings of Gosling at the Ponsonby food court and a supposed picture of the actor at a local restaurant.

Gosling, currently linked to Hollywood beauty Eva Mendes, was believed to have been in South Africa on a date with a mystery blonde last week, but his publicist denied it was him, saying he was in Bangkok, Thailand, where he's been filming 'Only God Forgives' for the past month.
