His friend and Ides of March costar George Clooney joked about his where a saying "He's working, I think, in Thailand. He wrote me a nice letter, an email, this morning. You know, he's gotta work, he's gotta earn a living, he's a struggling actor."

This isn't the first time George has busted Ryan's chops. Back in November, when Bradley Cooper won PEOPLE's "Sexiest Man Alive", many Gosling fans flipped out, even starting a petition to get the title handed over to Ryan.
