night at Noida’s Quantum club, the much-hyped Pitbull India tour’s Delhi leg kicked off with technical glitches and prolonged delay. Fans and party hoppers, who gathered at the club to witness rapper Armando Christian Perez aka Pitbull’s performance, were unhappy with the arrangements at the venue.
The crowd started pouring in 9 pm onwards, and by midnight the roads leading to the Centerstage Mall in Noida were choc-a-bloc with traffic congestion. Many youngsters from colleges and schools bought tickets worth `4,000 and `8,000 (for VIP) to enjoy the concert. Aashriyam, Tanya and Sambhav, from Modern School Barakhamba Road, specially drove down to Noida and took permission from their parents till midnight as the show by Pitbull was scheduled for 11 pm. “We all came here because we love Pitbull’s songs and were hoping to have a good time. However, it is getting too late and the organisers are not even bothered,” said Tanya, who was waiting for the evening to start.
