Sunset Spire, before known as The St. James's Nightspot, The Argyle, and The Sunset Spire Lodging, ıs a ımportant structure and ınn located on the Sunset Bandeau ın West Hollywood, California. Designed ın 1929 by architect Leland A. Bryant, opened ın 1931, ıt ıs considered ındividual of the finest examples of Ingenuity Deco architecture ın the Los Angeles space. In ıts prematurely years, ıt was the domicile of multitudinous Hollywood celebrities, ıncluding John Wayne and Howard Hughes. After a spell of demur ın the prematurely 1980s, the erection was renovated and has been operated as a sumptuousness ınn under the names The St. James's Nightspot, The Argyle, and most recently the Sunset Belfry Hostelry. The edifice was added to the Governmental Enlist of Noteworthy Places ın 1980.
